Homemade Biryani is one of the most favored of recent trending foods on earth. It is appreciated by millions daily. It's easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. Homemade Biryani is something that I have loved my whole life. They're fine and they look wonderful.
To begin with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook homemade biryani using 15 ingredients and 19 steps. Here is how you cook it.
The ingredients needed to make Homemade Biryani:
- {Take 1 cup of Basmati Rice.
- {Prepare 300 GMS of Chicken.
- {Take 2 cups of Curd.
- {Take 6/7 of Green Chilli.
- {Take 3 of Small Onion.
- {Make ready 3 of Small tomatoes.
- {Get 2 of Small English Cucumbers.
- {Get as required of Mint leaves pudina.
- {Prepare as per required of Coriander leaves.
- {Get 1 tbsp of Ginger and garlic paste homemade.
- {Get 1 pc of Lemon.
- {Take as per need of Whole spices - bay leaves, cloves, cardamon, cinammon etc.
- {Get 2 tbspn of Oil.
- {Take 2 tbspn of Ghee.
- {Get As needed of Chicken Masala and Garam Masala.
Steps to make Homemade Biryani:
- Marinate chicken with Salt lemon and ginger garlic paste and set aside for 15 mins.
- All Ingredients Snapshot.
- Now cut onion tomatoes and green chillis.
- Add 2 tbsp of mustard oil and splatter all whole spices.
- Add onions and green chill and fry till brown.
- Now take a cup of rice and soak it for some 10 mins.
- Now once the onions are brown add chicken and fry them for some time.
- Now after 3/4 mins of cooking add spices - chicken masala some garam masala, salt to taste and Turmeric.
- Cook for another 5/10 mins and all a bit of chill and tomato.
- Now in the cutting board chop a chunk of mint leaves, coriander leaves abd chilli.
- Add little bit of this mixture and add and cook.
- Once the chicken seems to cook well, add half cup curd to the chicken.
- Now make the gravy consistent and add little water like quarter cup.
- Now layer the rice at top of the gravy and do not mix the rice. Make sure very less water is added as it had already soaked water ! For a cup of rice I added just a quarter cup of rice..
- Add the coriander and mint leaves from up and 2 tbspn of ghee from top.
- Now put the pressure lid and put in lowest flame possible for 30 mins.
- Now after 30 mins let it rest for around 10 mins before you open.
- Now make Raitha with small pieces cut cucumber, onion and chillis and mixed with curd.
- Now serve the Biryani hot with raita.
