Instructions to make Tikka Biryani:

  1. Soak rice for 1/2 hour and set aside..
  2. Boil rice with salt and zeera in the water until 3/4 cooked as you boil for making biryani and set aside.
  3. In a pot, add oil and fry onions until golden brown. After that add ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 minute..
  4. Now add biryani masala and tomatoes in it along with some water and boil it. After boiling slow down the flame and cook the masala nad tomatoes until tomato becomes tender and soft..
  5. Meanwhile in another pot, add 3-4 tsp oil and add potatoes in it. Sprinkle some salt and food colour and a little water and leave it until potatoes done..
  6. Now check masala in the first pot if it is done add potatoes in it and mix with spoon until oil separates. (Yani achi trah bhunai krlain).
  7. In another pot, layer some boiled rice and then Prepared gravy..
  8. Now again layer boiled rice add sliced tomatoes and hara dhania, podina and green chilli in it..
  9. Now chicken tikka pieces in it and add again some all the boiled rice..
  10. Sprinkle some zafrani colour and add biryani essence in it. Put it on dum for 15-20 minutes..
  11. In the end, give coal smoke for 5 minutes.Tikka biryani is ready..
